The question I’m most often asked, from those who want to make money with CPA marketing is, “What’s the BEST way to take CPA offers and make a consistent income on auto-pilot?”

And the answer is, “There is more than one way to do that.”

It completely depends on you and how quickly you want to make money. So contemplate these options and chose the one you are comfortable with. if you are willing to sacrifice some control it can happen quickly, or are you comfortable making money a little slower but in the end you have more control. These choices also have to do with your risk tolerance and what you are willing to commit to, to reach your goal your desired income.

Let’s talk “list building”, this is a strategy many successful CPA marketers use in their CPA campaigns. Let’s take time for a quick reminder of what list building is and what it means to you. List building is basically providing your visitors (traffic) a way to enter in their contact information in exchange for something they want that you are will to give them, usually for free.

These people are interested in what you have to offer them and they will give up their name and email addressees to get it. This is tried and true so it’s nothing new. It’s being used by most online CPA marketers.

When you have someone’s contact information it gives you the opportunity to offer these people different, but similar CPA experiences that convert them into repeat buyers and you get repeat income from the same customer. This has proven to be much more cost effective than working to drive new traffic everyday to receive one time CPA conversions.

As an example let’s say you have chosen to focus on the “weight loss niche”. The weight loss niche is an IDEAL repeat buyer niche because people who want to lose weight rarely stop at just one or even two weight loss products — they usually try MANY.

One of the best ways to ensure a big, responsive list of people who are repeat offer buyers is building a relationship with those on your list and giving them multiple zip and email offers. Combine that with an interactive landing page style and you have the potential for many repeat customers.

Another popular CPA strategy often used by beginners to get their first sales, with the potential of  making a few thousand dollars is the “direct-to-link” strategy. This strategy is far less time consuming and involved than the CPA list building method described above and it involves less risk up front and more upside potential very quickly (even overnight).

This strategy focuses on using free and/or paid traffic like articles, Google PPC, blogs, and Yahoo or Facebook PPC.

The biggest drawback with this strategy is that you’re “giving away control in return for immediate profits” no contact information is collected. Which may or may not be a drawback depending on your plan and what you intend to do with the profits you make from being on the fast track.

The obvious positive is that you make money quickly and can “cut straight to the chase”.

Both strategies are a valid choice just keep in mind that as fast as you can make money, without a solid plan you can lose it just as quickly. Follow your plan to control your finances and keep most of the wealth you generate with CPA.
